Can I bring children? The cabins have not been built with children in mind and due to the number of hot fires we don't allow children. However this makes it the perfect romantic or quiet break for adults!

Is there WIFI?There is no wifi and also no TV. This is by design to allow guests to switch off. There is however 4G signal if you need it.

What should I pack?Shoes and Clothes We recommend packing light and bringing suitable clothes for walking down the cabin paths (shoes or wellies that can get muddy). Bring warm layers, scarfs & hat so you can enjoy sitting outside in the evening. Slippers and thick socks are recommended for extra cosiness as you curl up by the fire. Bring your swim wear so you have the option to try wild swimming. Food and Drinks We recommend bringing all your food and drinks with you so you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. There is a Co-Op five minutes drive away in Lennoxtown but nothing within walking distance for top ups. All water in the cabin is delicious and drinkable. Other Useful Items Torch and matches are recommended. There will be a torch attached to the wheelbarrow for moving your luggage after nightfall and there will also be matches in the cabin but better to be safe than sorry in case batteries or matches run out. If you haven’t opted for extra wood please bring logs and kindling for when your starter supply runs out.

What should I leave at home?We supply all towels, bedding and dressing gowns so leave those at home and there will be organic toiletries in the bathroom. We provide blankets to use while sitting on the decking. Please don’t bring bottled water as we try to minimise plastic waste. There is a safe log splitter to use to make smaller logs, leave the axe at home! No candles please. Allowable ones will be provided in glass lanterns. Sorry no dogs due to free range chickens and guinea fowl that may say hello.
